The oil is very pale yellow having a pleasant fresh cineolic odour with a hint of a citrus note (which becomes more pronounced after a few minutes), mixed with a slight spicy cinnamon tonality and sweet balsamic undertones. The dry down is very faint being sweet, soapy & woody balsamic. The oil could be potentially useful to give depth to herbal blends, and more generally in masculine fragrance accords.
Typically contains terpene hydrocarbons, 1,8-cineole (23-33%), a-pinene (22-31%), linalool (6-13%) and a-terpineol (5-8%)
All of our products are 100% pure and natural and are backed by a total assurance of quality. Most of our products are obtained from trees and plants grown and distilled on the The Paperbark Co. property in Harvey. Significant quantities of West Australian sandalwood, although not grown on the property, are also distilled by The Paperbark Co.
Although not claiming organic status, The Paperbark Co. adopts sustainable farming practices, with no pesticide spraying, little or no herbicide spraying (occasional spot spraying only), and use of fertilisers that are mostly approved for organic certification. Gentle, saturated steam distillation is used to produce 100% pure, premium grade essential oils and hydrosols.
